  • Without a doubt, Lilo & Stitch is the best animated film Disney has produced in over a decade--the only film by Disney made after 1999 that can hold a flame to any of the studio's previous releases.

  • Stitch's creator, Dr. Jumba Jookiba is found guilty of illegal genetic engineering (creating Stitch) and Stitch (known before his meeting with Lilo at the shelter as Experiment 626) is sentenced to exile on an asteroid after offending the council.

  • Lilo & Stitch has a cute story, endearing characters, a sensational soundtrack of Elvis classics, and glorious hand-painted animation. At its heart, it's just an old-fashioned story of a child and a pet.

  • Lilo's stages (the ones where she's required to sneak around an alien starship in an attempt to escape) are actually the most compelling; while Stitch's are fairly straightforward shoot-em-ups, Lilo's are more puzzle-oriented and fun to solve.

  • "Lilo & Stitch" stands out when the relationship between Lilo, Nani, and Stitch, and their quote on family is touching. Nani, who is an older sister does appeal to older children, while Lilo appeals to younger children.

  • I really like Lilo & Stitch. It’s not perfect and I prefer the scenes with the family to those involving the aliens, but nothing is bad. I’m definitely a fan of adoption stories and movies where people come together to form a family, and this is a shining example of why.

  • Lilo and Stitch of course have trouble communicating, since Lilo is very young and Stitch speaks no English, but the alien, who is a quick study, picks up some words and, more important, some concepts that challenge its existence as a destructive being.

  • LILO & STITCH is the story of two outcasts who find each other and, through many dangers and trials, change each other for the better and find love and “Ohana,” the Hawaiian name for family.

  • The realness of the movie means that "Lilo & Stitch" often feels like a live action movie that just happens to be drawn (at one point Stitch sees a 1950s SF movie on TV, and the movie in question is shown as a genuine film clip).

  • Lilo & Stitch: An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack is the soundtrack to Disney's 2002 animated feature Lilo & Stitch. It contains two original songs from the film written by Mark Kealiʻi Hoʻomalu and Alan Silvestri (the film's composer), and performed by Kealiʻi Hoʻomalu and the Kamehameha Schools children's chorus.
