  • The Brothers Bloom isn't bad, like I said, but it should been much better as well considering the talent involved in the project. The Brothers Bloom is entertaining for what it manages to do, but by the times the credit, you definitely feel that something's missing to make this a film worth revisiting.

  • "The Brothers Bloom" was filmed for a reported $20 million, which is chicken feed if you consider the locations in Montenegro, Serbia, Romania and the Czech Republic. The acting is a delight. Rachel Weisz creates a New Jersey heiress who is painfully lonely -- strange, for such a beauty -- and delightfully ditzy.

  • Summary: For as long as they can remember, the Brothers Bloom have had only each other to depend on. From their childhood in a long series of gloomy foster homes to their highflying lives as international con artists, Stephen and Bloom have shared everything.

  • The Brothers Bloom will undoubtedly have a place among the better, if not the best, films about con-men, but it's also a film about family and trust and the limits of both.

  • Read the Empire review of The Brothers Bloom. Find out everything you need to know about the film from the world's biggest movie destination. Read the Empire review of The Brothers Bloom.

  • If you can just accept this movie with all the innocence and naivete that Rachel's character, Penelope accepts Bloom, then you will hugely enjoy the movie. This is a movie about two con men. This is a movie with one, or two, too many cons.

  • The Brothers Bloom is quirky and clever. Set in the present but with a perfectly judged retro feel, it looks fabulous too. Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi almost steals the film with her deadpan presence as Bang Bang, the gang's explosives expert.
