  • Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) seemed like just a filler movie that was probably the weakest of the 4 movies and a prequel. Kate Beckinsale looks great in Underworld Awakening and hasn't aged a bit; a little of that might be the make-up but she is still very beautiful at 40.

  • Murky and perpetually bluish in tinge, Underworld: Awakening does and gets little with the 3-D in which it's being offered, and ends by shamelessly setting up a further and fatally unnecessary installment.

  • Audience Reviews for Underworld: Awakening Following on from 'Evolution' we see both the lycan and vampire species under threat from humans after being hunted down to the brink of extinction.

  • Underworld awakening is a good movie in the Underworld set. I only gave it four stars because of the fact it's only about hour and twenty minutes long before the end credits. It does set up a 5th movie in the set and movie rumors say that scott speedman is coming back as Micheal for the 5th movie in the set but guess we will just have to wait ...

  • After the events of Underworld (2003) and Underworld: Evolution (2006), humans discover the existence of vampires and lycans and begin "cleansing" in UNDERWORLD AWAKENING. Selene ( Kate Beckinsale ) is captured, and her lover Michael is presumably dead.

  • Underworld: Awakening boasts some fun stylized action, and Kate Beckinsale back in that skin-tight outfit, but it also continues the franchise's streak of frustrating mediocrity.

  • This is the visual aesthetic of Underworld: Awakening, the fourth movie in the vampires-versus-werewolves action franchise: A well-appointed operating theater in a lavishly funded lab is lit entirely with flickering fluorescent lights, such that everything looks dim, murky, and blue-black. It’s the exact same lighting scheme seen in a devastated parking garage after a huge battle later in ...

  • Underworld: Awakening sounds fantastic. Sony's DTS-HD MA 7.1 lossless soundtrack ranks amongst the very best the format has to offer. This one impresses from the opening seconds on through to the ...

  • Underworld: Awakening illustrates a bizarre paradox in the entertainment world. The franchise it belongs to is so shallow, so silly and so bombastically grotesque that one has to believe that its main audience must be teen boys with little supervision and way too much time on their hands.

  • Underworld: Awakening is a 2012 American 3D action horror film directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein. It is the fourth installment in the Underworld franchise , with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene , joined by Theo James , Michael Ealy , and India Eisley .
