  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the beginning of what could be called the long, slow consolidation of the franchise. The first of ultimately four efforts to be helmed by David Yates, it approaches the material with neither the need nor the willingness to prove itself, seemingly confident that fans will know enough about the basics at this point that more new stuff can be crammed in.

  • "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" still has much of the enchantment of the earlier films, but Harry no longer has as much joy. His face is lacking the gosh-wow-this-is-really-neat grin. He has internalized the secrets and delights of the world of wizards, and is now instinctively using them to save his life.

  • Harry's summer break with the Dursley's is more wretched than usual in HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, the fifth installment in the most popular book series of all time.

  • Harry Potter, you're my hero. Sure, you've defeated a three-headed dog and a giant snake in your movies, but now, you're pulling off magic tricks in real life -- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the first movie tie-in videogame of the summer that I've actually had fun playing.

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the first Harry Potter movie directed by David Yates. Some fans love Yates and his different style, but there are people who don't like him, myself included.

  • Summary: In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts only to discover that much of the wizarding community has been led to believe that the story of the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort is a lie, putting Harry's integrity in question.

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a passable portable adventure, but if you're looking for sterling software to get the most out of your PSP, look elsewhere. This is strictly for Potter ...

  • Riveting fifth movie finds Harry angry, brooding. Read Common Sense Media's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix review, age rating, and parents guide.

  • Dumbledore spends a good deal of time in The Order of the Phoenix as a fugitive - he is sacked as headmaster - and this expulsion from Eden is an almost inevitable development for Rowling, as it is for Potter and the reader.
