  • "Superbad" is a four-letter raunch-a-rama with a heart, and an inordinate interest in other key organs. It is autobiographical, I suspect, inspired not just by the lives of co-writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who named the two leads after themselves, but possibly by millions of other teenagers.

  • Audience Reviews for Superbad Even though kids trying to get drunk and laid is far from being my favorite genre of comedies I have to admit this had quite a few good laughs.

  • Super bawdy, super profane -- and super funny. Read Common Sense Media's Superbad review, age rating, and parents guide.

  • Now onto the real review. Superbad is a shamelessly raunchy R-rated comedy with more four letter words than a Webster dictionary. Again, this sounds like the introduction I'd give a poorly rated film. By no means is Superbad a bad comedy.

  • Superbad is a movie about partying and getting wasted and getting the girl, but as the night wears on, much wisdom is gained too, about self, friendship and the end of teenage innocence in all its ...

  • Superbad is teen sex comedy in the vein of Porky’s and American Pie - i.e. nobody really gets much sex to speak of, but they pursue it giddily, ike toddlers after butterflies.

  • Summary: Superbad is a coming-of-age cautionary tale about two socially inept teenage boys about to graduate high school. Theirs is a ridiculously dependent friendship--but now they've gotten into different colleges and are forced to contemplate life apart.

  • It's immature, gross and - some of the time - very funny. In some ways, Superbad is the prequel to Knocked Up: it shows what the slacker nerds were like in high school: ie exactly the same. The ...

  • Horny is as horny does in the sweetly absurd high school comedy “Superbad.” A tickly, funny tale of three teenage boys revved up by their surging, churning, flooding hormones, the movie joins ...
